What we collect

When you send a request we collect your first name, email address, an optional mobile number, your neighborhood or ZIP code, a description of the problem and any photos you upload.

When you create a contractor account we also collect business details, license information and proof of insurance.

We collect basic technical information such as IP address to protect the service from abuse.

We never sell your contact details

Your name, email and phone number are never sold, rented or shared with a list of contractors.

Matched pros see the job summary, photos, neighborhood, timing and urgency. Nothing else.

Your contact details reach a pro only when you explicitly share them with that one pro, and you can revoke that at any time.

How we use what we collect

To match you with pros, to send you updates about your request, to prevent abuse and to improve the service.

We use an AI service to read your description and work out which trade it belongs to. We do not send your name, email or phone number to that service.

Deletion and access

Email us and we will delete your data on request, or send you a copy of what we hold.

Cookies

We use only the storage needed to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure, plus one small record of the choice you make on our cookie banner.

Analytics

If you tap “Allow” on the cookie banner, we record a small number of usage events — for example that a search was submitted, a request was created or a quote was sent, and which page it happened on. This helps us see which pages actually help people find a pro.

Analytics run only after you consent. Tapping “No thanks” means nothing is recorded, and essential features work the same either way. These events are not tied to your name or contact details, are never sold, and are never shared with advertisers or data brokers. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and update the date above.
